As per the MCI guidelines, the new Competency based Curriculum (2019) has to be implemented in the UG Curriculum for MBBS .The Medical Council of India has directed all medical colleges to give mandatory training in Curriculum Implementation Support Program (CISP) to all the faculty members in their institutes. In lieu of the mandate issued by the MCI, the curriculum committee of Gian Sagar Medical College & Hospital, Rajpura. Distt. Patiala under the able guidance of the Principal, Dr Kamaljit Singh organized a CISP-II workshop program from 29th to 30th September 2020. A total of 25 faculty members participated in the workshop. Dr. Anjali Jain, Co Convener & Incharge rBCW and CISP, Professor, Department of Anatomy, MCI Nodal Centre for Faculty Development, Christian Medical College, Ludhiana graced our workshop as an observer from the Medical Council of India. Regular feedback about the workshop was taken from the participants. According to the feedback, the sessions were interactive, educative, informative and created better understanding about Competency Based Medical Education amongst the participants. The sessions also sensitized regarding how to incorporate national health needs in their teaching sessions, keeping in mind the roles of an Indian Medical Graduate.
