The Department of Psychiatric Nursing Gian Sagar College of Nursing observed World Mental Health Day 2025 on October 9th based on the theme “Mental Health in Humanitarian Emergencies.”
The event aimed to promote awareness about mental well-being during crises. Dr. Reema Bana and other esteemed experts from the Department of Psychiatry GSH delivered an insightful lecture highlighting the importance of compassion and timely psychological support. A nukkad nattak was also presented by students of VI sem B Sc Nursing.
The program was attended by the Faculty and students, and concluded with a pledge to foster mental health awareness and empathy within the community.
The students of Gian Sagar Nursing College made us proud by actively participating in a variety of academic, cultural, and sports events at the conference. From Quiz, Poster Presentation, and Extempore Speech to Dance, Mono Act, and various athletic events, their enthusiasm and talent truly shone through.
