Psychiatric Nursing

Psychiatric Nursing (also called Mental Health Nursing) is a specialized area of nursing practice that focuses on the care of individuals, families, and groups experiencing mental health challenges. At Gian Sagar College of Nursing, we prepare students to provide holistic, therapeutic, and evidence-based care for patients with psychiatric and behavioral disorders. The program emphasizes not only treatment but also prevention, rehabilitation, and promotion of mental well-being.
