1. To prepare bed for the new patients. |
2. To receive the patient and provide bed to them. |
3. To make pre- assessment of the patient by checking the vital signs. |
4. After pre assessment to inform the doctor regarding patient’s condition and vital signs. |
5. To provide whole care to the patient such as personal care, medication, vital signs and observation of the health status. |
6. To take the rounds with the doctor and follow the instruction which has been given by the doctor. |
7. To provide guidance to the patient regarding diet according to the diseased condition. |
8. To guide the patient regarding physical movements according to the need of the patient. |
9. To provide psychological support to the patient and give information regarding patient queries to reduce the anxiety and fear. |
10. To inform the doctor regarding vital signs intake/ output investigations and health status of the patient. |
11. To provide all safety measures to the patient to prevent any adverse incidence. |
12. To prepare the patient for surgery. |
13. At the time of discharge to prepare the file for patient discharge and send the file to billing department for clearance. |
14. To educate the patient regarding treatment which is prescribed by the doctor? |
15. To guide the patient regarding diet, exercise and proper follow up as advised by the doctor. |
