Services Provided

1. OPD:- state of art treatments are provided by the doctors and clinical psychologist for people suffering from various mental illnesses such as:-

   • General Audit Psychiatry Schizophrenia and other Psychotic Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Bipolar Mood Disorders, Phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Psychosomatic Disorders.

   • Geriatric Psychiatry Dementias, Depression in old age

   • Sexual Disorders Pharmacological Treatment, couple sex therapy

   • Psychotherapy CBT, Supportive Psychotherapy, Marital Therapy, Family Therapy, Behavioral Therapy.

   • Sexual Disorders Pharmacological Treatment, couple sex therapy

   • Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

2. Psychiatry ward:- For people who require in patient services, 8 bedded wards for males and females facilities have been provided. Thorough care is provided by doctors, nurses, social worker and psychologists during the ward stay.

3. Consultation liaison psychiatry:- Department is providing services for psychiatry emergencies as well as routine psychiatric consultations for in patients of other specialities..

4. Publications:- Many national and international publications have been accredited to this department

5. Teaching programme:- The UG teaching programme is run in accordance with prescribed NMC guidelines, proper infrastructure has been maintained for clinical rotations in psychiatry.
